Wild Turkeys in the City

Rumors of wild turkeys roaming the streets of Sacramento were confirmed yesterday morning. The neighborhood dogs, particularly ours, were barking for good reason: two wild turkeys were in the front yard.I grabbed my camera and took a shot of the smaller of the two crossing the street. I wished them luck as they must confront not only dogs and emboldened cats, but also curious teens on skateboards.
