Our two rescue dogs have distinct personalities at the beach. Teddy, on the right, runs along the surf, but avoids getting wet while Molly frolics in the ocean. When we first took Teddy to the beach, she was terrified of the pounding waves and wouldn’t get within 30 feet of the water. While those fearful days are over, I don’t think she’ll ever join Molly in the ocean, but I’ve been wrong before.
