A year ago in Sacramento I came across a ginkgo on 8th Avenue that was in full autumn bloom while most other trees were bare branched. I happened to walk by this same tree yesterday and the display of its yellow leaves was spectacular. I’m sure there are other trees holding on to their colorful foliage , but, for my purposes, I’ll say this ginkgo was the fullest, most colorful tree in Sacramento on December 6.
