Some sunsets are lost in a heavy marine layer while others, like this one, are brilliant to the end–even the birds stop to enjoy the final moments of bright light. I’ve taken so many sunset photos that finally I can savor the show without a camera. I shot this at low tide from a small strip of beach at Carmel Point.
