The local utility company is jack-hammering this morning by our house. The neighborhood is getting new gas distribution lines. The work is messy and noisy. So, I thought I’d post a shot I took last year of a butterfly iris in our driveway as a means of balancing the chaos of progress and natural beauty…in my head.
