The Moon Will Do

Yesterday at  sunset the sky turned a pinkish blue despite the smokey haze from forest fires. The excuses for missing the sunset photo opp were many: I was in the middle of a project; tall trees were in the way;and  the eight minute walk to a good shooting locale was too long–the sky would be dark by the time I reached my spot. Then, I noticed the moon. Took this hand-held shot as darkness arrived. The moon will do.
