Winter

Took this photo a few years ago in New Jersey in October. But now in December this same shot belongs in Northern California where fallen wet leaves abound along with busy squirrels. Winter is here but not like on the East Coast. There are a handful of trees ( I counted three)with red leaves in downtown Carmel. But tourists come here for the ocean, not the leaves. Still, I miss the fall colors back on the East Coast where I grew up. I don’t miss the cold.
