When I was a kid, I had several uncles who could fall asleep anywhere after a holiday dinner. No matter that the TV was blasting, kids were screaming and adult chatter was at a high decibel, sleep would find them, usually on a sofa, or in an oversized chair. Now the uncles in my life are harbor seals that pass out on jagged rocks at Point Lobos. They will nap anywhere.
