This wild rabbit sits on a tree stump when it would like some Kenilworth ivy.

A wild rabbit has been living in our front yard for nearly a year. I took this photo yesterday. When the rabbit sits on a tree stump, it’s a signal that it would be nice if I placed some Kenilworth ivy on the stump. I comply.

The rabbit lives a few feet away in a thick underbrush of what is called Carmel creeper. Between the growth of the creeper and the rabbit’s hunger for ivy, there is no ivy left in the front yard. However, I have plenty of ivy in an area that the rabbit cannot access.
