Butterfly Irises After the Rain

When the morning sun struck the butterfly irises outside the living room window yesterday, I saw a great photo opp. They were in full bloom–flying as it were. But I waited too long. Rain. Sometimes it was hard, mostly it was gentle. Didn’t matter. The “wings ” became something else, beautiful in their own way. Peace.
