
Okay, Day Three and no shots of people yet, just my old standby, the brown pelican. Most of my pelican captures have them flying over me, sometimes by me but rarely, like this one, gliding below me. Took this shot with a 300 mm lens while standing on a cliff looking down on the Pacific Ocean.
Pelicans appear to enjoy themselves, gliding effortlessly in the sea breeze, usually with an audience of other pelicans watching from a boulder outcrop, as was the case in this photo. They are at peace with themselves.
