

Although Molly is smaller than Ivan who has sharper teeth, she dominates their “tug of war” with socks, a daily event on our living room floor. It is my observation that Ivan doesn’t win on purpose. Their tug is usually a sustained tie until Molly decides enough is enough as she shakes her head to end the tug…and Ivan is okay with that. Molly, six, is a mentor to Ivan who is a big puppy at about 18 months. He follows her signals, in most cases, especially the one that says play time is over.
