I went to photograph the wild rabbit waiting for its daily meal of ivy, but found a sparrow in the rabbit’s place, patient and unafraid, to a point. I put a handful of ivy on the oak stump–the bird hopped into the bushes like a rabbit. A half-hour later most of the ivy was gone, but don’t know who ate it.
