This close-up of a red dragonfly reminds me of those cheaply done science fiction horror movies from yesteryear? There appears to be an aviator’s helmet on its head, something needed by aliens from another planet. Speaking of “planets,” the worst of these poorly made B-movies is director Ed Wood’s 1959 disasterpiece “Plan 9 from Outer Space.” This movie is so bad it’s good and well worth watching. I like the scene with a string holding up a space ship, or the acting of Bela Lugosi who was actually dead when the movie was shot–Wood used clips of Lugosi from other unfinished projects. All this from a red dragonfly in my backyard. Peace.
