Tough to Photograph, Easy to Love

Ivan, our mixed breed rescue dog, has now been with us for two years–he’s about 3.5 years old. He’s tough to photograph with a black tongue (the chow chow part) and a combination of light colored fur with some dark areas. Of course, like most dogs he doesn’t pose. Took this shot yesterday after a very long walk. He’s yawning like a lion–his eyes almost disappear.
