September is painted lady month in the backyard, save for 2021 when everything has gone wrong with wildfires and the weather. Got a little too close on this shot taken four years ago to the day. Haven’t seen a single painted lady in over a month, so I thought I’d post an old photo in the hope that I’ll see one today.
