This verbena in a pot finally bloomed this week, no small feat since I thought it was dead and ready to be replaced. I bought it at a drug store four years ago–the first year was magnificent. It disappeared during the winter months, but managed to pop up in the Spring over the next few years. The drought appeared to finish it off last season, but 2022 surprised me. I put nasturtiums in the pot but got this bloom yesterday with another one on the way.
