Misguided Math

One afternoon many years ago I contemplated the “reality” of living on writing poetry for $60 an hour. I was sitting down with a letter from Writer’s Digest and a check payable to me for $15 for a poem I’d written in about 15 minutes. What if I wrote dozens of poems? Riches? Talk about misguided math!
