The surprise in this shot taken at day break at an empty beach parking lot was the coffee cup I put on the metal trash can behind me. The low sun was also behind me. The subject was a toy water pistol. An amazing number of beach toys are left in the sand. I had no idea that the shadow of a coffee cup would, in my opinion, spice up this photo.
