It was 104 yesterday afternoon when I saw wild turkeys on a neighbor’s lawn. The high today is forecasted to be 112. In a metropolitan area of one million, how can these turkeys survive? In this extreme heat dogs, cats and people are inside, leaving the lawns to the gobblers.
