Some Photos Need a Person

In my early years of taking photos, I favored shots of narrow walkways without a “model.” In part, I was reluctant to photograph a stranger and I wanted the viewer to guess what was around the corner. But a person can drive home the total feel of a photo as in this one where my walking model, Anne, “stretches” up an incline in a Firenze neighborhood.
