DSC_0242 - Copy - Copy

I picked up a piece of tree bark from the local park this week and brought it home because it looked mask-like. I wouldn’t have done this 20 years ago because even if I had noticed the facial aspects of bark on the ground, I was too busy/had no time for art, etc. Today this bark is on a wall, not a tree, serving as a reminder of how life’s priorities are modulated by the passage of time.
