As a former truck driver decades ago, I know how hard it is to turn tight corners. But the trucks I drove for North American Van Lines to earn money for college would be dwarfed by today’s semi-tractor-trailer. I was behind a few 53-footers (trailer size) yesterday. I could eat lunch in the time it took for the driver to expertly make the left turn as shown. I much prefer waiting at a stop sign until the trailer clears the intersection than getting sandwiched by these monsters at 70 mph on I-5.
