DSC_0262 - Copy DSC_0249 - Copy DSC_0265Before he moved out of his house, this elderly neighbor gave us some of his petrified rocks from Arizona simply because we like rocks. Pictured is one of the rocks that is polished on the flat side and “as is” on the other. It’s too big to wear as jewelry, but it certainly qualifies as an Earthly wonder.

I had a rock collection as a kid but that went out the window along with my comics and other childhood keepsakes. Decades later I want my rocks back. But I am very thankful to have the “ones” that are in my yard and house. Someone asked me recently, what do you do with your rocks? Hey, I marvel at how nature can produce such beauty, that’s all.

    Rich,

I like rocks, too. My rocks are not as unusually beautiful as yours.
