Cormorants at Point Lobos

The moment was better suited for video, not still shots, but I’ll add a narrative to help my photos move. I was standing on a cliff yesterday at Point Lobos when amid the “arfing” of sea lions I see cormorants flying “below the radar.” I click a few times and they are gone. I am amazed by how low and fast they fly. The shot of the cormorant landing was taken at Point Lobos last year when I had climbed up a cliff to get closer to these birds.
