In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Motion.”

While I take a large number of “motion” shots, they are usually centered around wildlife and sea life movements: birds flying, whales diving, etc. One of my favorite shots, however, was taken while leaving Venice via a water taxi. I passed laundry hanging out to dry along a canal. My eye caught a sheer slip waving in the breeze–the other heavier items were probably still wet and not moving much. This turned out to be my last photo of Venice before I boarded the plane.
