Weekly Photo Challenge:Treat

In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Treat.”

As a beekeeper I look forward to the October harvest of honey. This is a photo of honey dripping from honeycombs that are taken from the hive by the side of our house. This year’s honey is the sweetest on record, but I probably think that every year. We don’t sell honey, only give it away–our goal is to raise healthy bees–we’ve give away over 100,000 bees in recent years to other local beekeepers.
