Honey Bees working in harmony

As a beekeeper I see harmony everyday at the hive. The bees work together, do good for our planet and are peaceful. Imagine a choir warming up with everyone hitting the same long note–that’s what the buzz sounds like inside the hive–no one is out of key, a perfect harmony. This shot focuses on a forager bee loaded up with nectar (the yellow sacs).  Bees are not good at landing, so they lightly crash into the front of the hive, crawl backwards for a bit, turn around, then creep into the hive. <a href=”https://dailypost.wordpress.com/photo-challenges/harmony/”>Harmony</a&gt;

    Cool shots – and thanks for the interesting info about the crash technique! Don’t try this at home 🙂
