creek without soundCreek without sound

I was hiking at Garrapata State Park, the northern most point of Big Sur, when I crossed a foot bridge with a water from the mountains rushing under. I took a photo, then went on in relative silence–alligator lizards and monarch butterflies are quiet. On my way back I was glad to hear the stream–so I took a video. Click to be there.

Susan: Thanks. I find that with age comes the responsibility to enjoy what’s around us and to preserve that which is fragile. My bees are amazing and, so far, they are surviving El Nino. Hope you are well. Le me know if you’d like some honey.
