After a romp at the beach yesterday, Sammy spent some of his 14th year with a solid nap. The older he gets, the more he resembles a friendly bear. He has a giant head with incredibly soft fur that strangers love to pet. Most people guess his age at 6 or 7. But when awake, he is a puppy at heart and that has kept him young. He is our “rescue” dog in the true sense of the word.
