Newborn quail…in the backyard

My weekly posting of “quails in my yard” features newborns looking for berries from overhanging ivy. They typically leave the nest after two days and become their own boss after two weeks. Took this shot through our back window as I didn’t want to frighten them, although they look fairly calm. Mom rounded them up a few minutes later.
