wildflowers

A little over two months ago I threw some wildflower seeds in the backyard.It was the wrong time of year to sow, but I wanted to spread some good luck. It worked. I now have some amazing flowers as winter approaches. My bees are happy as well. I took this photo yesterday–there are more buds on the way. And to think that I briefly entertained the notion of putting these seeds away until next Spring. As the saying goes, “throw caution to the wind.”
