Broken Mondays

dsc_0250

I used to drive past this broken wagon on my way to work on Mondays. I still go past this wagon, but mostly on foot now as I have retired.  Sometimes at home I listen to the radio traffic reports, a listing of backups on I-80, 280, 101, etc., and smile.  I arm myself with the NYT and a cup of coffee–so great not to wear a seat belt. But it is still Monday, the start of a new week. Lately, the news on the radio  has been so bad. We have an inept president. Actually, he is more than inept–that’s what is so scary. He has displayed a mental imbalance suggesting that life to him is nothing more than a bully’s world where consequences don’t exist. More broken Mondays ahead…
