Alpine Serenity

A last look at summer taken at the edge of an alpine lake at California’s Tahoe National Forest. Vacations are over. School is back in session. The hikers are few. The world is ravaged by earthquakes, floods, fires and hurricanes. But here, for a moment, is serenity, the kind you can touch but not take with you other than by camera, or memory.
