Return to a Sunset…

I returned to Carmel-by-the-Sea beach yesterday with my SLR to see if I could improve on Sunday’s shot taken with a cell phone.  Well, there were no surfers afoot, so I focused on a man walking alone–he actually had a dog that had run “out of the frame.” The colors are sharper and richer than with my cell phone that captured a different kind of drama–long shadows. I’m not disappointed, instead, I am acutely aware of how lucky I am to be able to have an ocean and a beach as a stage on a daily basis. The dogs agree.
