DSC_0055.JPGI returned to Carmel-by-the-Sea beach yesterday with my SLR to see if I could improve on Sunday’s shot taken with a cell phone.  Well, there were no surfers afoot, so I focused on a man walking alone–he actually had a dog that had run “out of the frame.” The colors are sharper and richer than with my cell phone that captured a different kind of drama–long shadows. I’m not disappointed, instead, I am acutely aware of how lucky I am to be able to have an ocean and a beach as a stage on a daily basis. The dogs agree.

Stunning! Living in the desert, I miss the ocean. Lived in San Francisco for 15 years…but the fog always obscured the sun. Thank you for the gorgeous pic!

Thank you. There is simply a poetry involved in how each day ends where the ocean meets the beach.
