DSC_0001 - Copy.JPGDSC_0005DSC_0003.JPGFairy doors? News to me, but I guess tiny wood doors placed at the base of large trees have been around for a few years. The point behind these doors, I’ve read,  is to stimulate the imagination of children who can leave messages for fairies. Imagination is important. So, it was nice to see a collection of fairy doors at a large public park in Sacramento.  Unfortunately, I saw that a half-dozen doors were torn Grimm Brother’s style from their hinges and nowhere to be seen. Yes, the doors are secured to the tree. There is much to debate in our country these days, but I don’t wish to add fairy doors to the list.

Hey Richard, my good friend put some of these on all his neighbor’s trees on Robertson in Land Park and someone knocked them all off the trees. Sad.

No doubt done by someone without an imagination.
