Some had fins and a fancy grille. Their paint jobs put BMWs to shame. And they jumped up and down thanks to hydraulics. These cars and pickups, most were converted into lo-riders, are works of art, reviving a time in America, especially in California, when cars looked cool. On the first day of 2018, scores of these classic vehicles were put on display in a Sacramento park by their owners. There were no fees to gawk, just pride in the restoration behind each vehicle. I’ll let the photos speak for themselves.DSC_0007 (1).JPGDSC_0062 - Copy.JPG
