Phone Photo of Surf

I usually don’t bring my SLR when walking two dogs on leash, particularly along a rough surf. Yesterday, I tried a phone shot of a wave striking boulders near Carmel River State Beach and was surprised by its sharp focus. Thankfully, the dogs were more interested in kelp than the ocean.  At this time of year we do most of our walking along the beach since the nearby hillsides are loaded with foxtails and ticks.
