Hoverfly in the Wind

DSC_0014 - Copy.JPG

The honey bee has two sets of wings and it can sting while its look alike, the hoverfly, has one set of wings and does not sting. Yesterday, I found a third difference–the hoverfly is a party animal while the bee is a work alcoholic. The flowers were blowing in the wind and it appeared as though several hoverflies were riding them like bucking broncos.
