Persistent Scrub Jay



Yesterday, I changed the soil in our off-the-ground planters. In doing so I exposed old roots that apparently caught the attention of a scrub jay. I believe the bird expected me to vacate the area.When I didn’t, the jay got in my face. I fought back by getting my camera. Didn’t do much good. So, I waited until my friend found an old acorn and left.
