Yesterday was the first sign that fall is near. A handful of leaves on our crepe myrtle have turned red orange–they were green the day before. In two weeks or so the streets in Sacramento, know as the “City of Trees,” will be lit up during the daytime by fall colors.
Late October, early November is my favorite weather time of year. The air is crisp, the trees are aglow and the World Series comes to a conclusion. All that is missing is the return of the monarch butterflies–haven’t seen them yet. Almost forgot, we’re going to have elections that might…
