Sacramento has always been a destination city, from its gold rush days to current times with two interstate freeways and rail lines intersecting it along with one international airport. Within the city the Uber-owned, cherry-red Jump Bike is an ever growing popular way to get from point A to point B. For a fee these motor-assisted bikes are cheaper than a taxi and, sometimes, faster than a car since parking, a downtown problem, is anywhere you leave the bike.
This shot was taken outside of a Starbuck’s a few days ago. There is a street bike chained next to a Jump Bike along with two suitcases. Don’t know the details behind the luggage.
