Public Stress

Life is a balancing act with love, a baby, and a house as some of the stress factors, depending on your point of view. Took this photo yesterday of a public art sculpture in a small Sacramento park. A colorful man–circus like–is balancing symbols (baby bottle, a heart, a house, etc.) of those stress factors on his head. What I like about this art is the man’s skin color in the glare of the sun. Sacramento is known for its high heat–days over 100-degrees F. Yet, the man’s skin doesn’t get irritated under the assault of 24/7 weather. Remarkable.

My labels: grandfather, father, veteran, writer, poet, photographer and dreamer in pursuit of the meaning of life. Getting close, although I'm running out of time--probably why I'm so close.
