Yesterday I checked on the wildflower that I posted about four days ago. That showy bloom was even more impressive with how its fragile folds caught the sunlight, as shown above. I thought of a Georgia O’Keeffe painting. But by day’s end a stiff wind had kicked up and that bloom was gone. Life.
As an aside my daughter and I years ago visited the Georgia O’Keeffe museum in Santa Fe, New Mexico. From the building to the gallery presentations, this museum captures the artist’s spirit. If this museum were somewhere near Central Park in NYC, you’d walk away with an entirely different take on her work.
