Petrified at the Gate


Our front gate is made of redwood, but its most interesting quality is that butterflies and moths chose it to be their final resting place. Took this shot yesterday of a moth in a petrified state at the gate. I’ve posted photos before of several buckeye butterflies and moths that ended here. Strange.
