Low Vs. High Tide

This week our family reunion hike took us to Big Sur’s Soberanes Point on a beautiful blue sky, low tide day. Although I explained to the out-of-towners that sometimes crashing waves come close to reaching the top of the cliff, my words fell short in the drama department. These photos tell the story best.
