I took this photo from my car while commuting from work for one of the last times–I retired in 2016. The drive home was 109 miles from the Bay Area to Sacramento, covering some of the most congested traffic spots in the world. I went by numerous accidents, some fatal. The “vibe” was negative and frankly so was I. Road courtesy was rare, expletives were common. Thankfully, I was never in an accident. Peace.
