We were walking the dogs by a golf course yesterday when we spotted mushrooms that looked like tiny umbrellas. Anne took these shots with her cell phone while holding two dogs on leash. (I had a german shepherd.) I guessed they might be parasol mushrooms. But, that naming would have been too easy. Most internet images claim these are Japanese umbrella mushrooms. I’ve never seen this type fungi before.
