Poetry: Prom Dress

Prom Dress

Alone on the sidewalk

In a prom dress,

The low afternoon sun on her bare shoulders,

Makes them shine.

Fragile beauty out of place

Like the nearby ten-speed resting

Against a brick wall,

Waiting to be stolen.
