Winter Rainbow

Into the winter light crept a rainbow. I realize rainbows arc, they don’t creep, but those are the words “I saw” when I looked up in joyful surprise for a new day, perhaps, one of hope. Tragically, I took this shot four years ago–the hope from that day is fading fast under the politics of hate. I hope I’m wrong.
